In this week, the baby is now ready to live in the outside world. However, the brain and lungs are still developing.

39. Week

The cervix begins to soften, shorten and thin in this week. The baby continues to develop subcutaneous fat tissues.

40. Week

It is the last week of pregnancy and the baby is now fully developed and ready to be born.
